Signature Portal

Give signers access to a secure portal where they can sign multiple signature requests at once without needing an account.

The Signature Portal is a centralized web interface that allows external signers (those without a Yousign account) to view and sign all pending Signature Requests from your organization in one place.

By decoupling the signing interface from individual email notifications, the Portal allows you to centralize document management and enable bulk signing capabilities for your users.

Technical Eligibility

To ensure a successful integration, please note the following constraints for the Portal and Bulk Signing:

  • Signature Level: Bulk signing is exclusively available for Simple Electronic Signature (SES) requests.
  • Authentication: To be signed in a batch, requests must share the same authentication method (e.g., you cannot bulk sign a "No Code" request with an "SMS OTP" request simultaneously).
  • Volume: The maximum limit for a single bulk transaction is 300 requests.

Local regulations may restrict the use of bulk signing in certain contexts. Please verify compliance with your legal team before implementation.


How it works for you

  1. Create Signature Requests as usual via the Yousign API

    Disable automatic email delivery by setting delivery_mode to none when configuring the signature request

  2. Retrieve your unique Signature Portal link directly in your Yousign app

    1. Go to General settings > Organization > Signature portal link
    2. Copy your unique URL.
  3. Distribute the link through your own communication channels (email, SMS, in-app notification, etc.)

When using delivery_mode: none, you are responsible for providing signed documents to your end users. Learn more about delivery modes.

How it works for signers

  1. Receive the portal link through your chosen communication method
  2. Access the Signature Portal using the link
  3. Verify their identity:
    • Enter the email address that receives Yousign signature invitations
    • Receive and enter a 6-digit one-time password (OTP) sent to their email
  4. View all pending Signature Requests from your organization in a single interface
  5. Select requests to sign:
    • Choose individual requests or select multiple for bulk signing (up to 300)
    • Only Simple Electronic Signature requests with matching authentication methods can be signed together

Session management: Signature Portal sessions are time-limited to 3 hours for security. If a session expires, Signers can request a new OTP code to continue.
