Signer Consent Requests

What are Signer Consent Requests?

Signer Consent Requests enable you to collect one or several consents from your Signers during their signature process. A “Consents” step will then be added after the Document review / Fields completion step and before Documents upload if Signer Documents Request exists on the Signature Request.

A Consent Request is presented as a checkbox to be ticked with a text. Just like Text Fields or Signer Documents, Signer Consent Requests can be either required or optional for the Signers.

All Consent Requests per Signer are ordered by creation date.

Each Consent Request can be associated with one or more Signers.

Note that Signer Consent Requests will be displayed on the audit trail for Simple Electronic Signature (SES) and Advanced Electronic Signature (AES).
